Sicklaanläggningen

The Sickla facility, which is part of the Henriksdal wastewater treatment plant, is largely located inside the mountain beneath Hammarbybacken. A total of approximately 530,000 m³ of solid rock will be blasted out to make room for the new facility, which will house coarse screening, grit removal, and primary sedimentation. Agicon is assisting Veidekke with quantity calculations and preparing documentation used for invoicing.

Expansion of treatment plant

The expansion of the treatment plant is an important initiative to increase capacity and meet the needs of a growing population, while ensuring Stockholm’s water is cleaner before being released into the Baltic Sea. The Sickla facility is being expanded and modernized to handle more wastewater from both southern and western Stockholm. The project also includes a 14-kilometer-long wastewater tunnel from Bromma to the Sickla facility. Initial treatment steps are carried out here, after which the water is transported to Henriksdal for further cleaning using new treatment technology.

Agicon supports with quantity control

Agicon has partnered with Veidekke AB by providing services in quantity regulation to ensure accurate calculations of materials and resources, as well as preparing documentation to facilitate financial follow-up. This helps the main contractor streamline processes and reduce errors in the project’s finances.
